Imitate their faith

It’s true that there are many nasty pieces of work in the world, like Herod and his more than somewhat dysfunctional family. There are also many more good people doing good things – loving one another, welcoming strangers, giving their very best in living their married lives and loving and caring for their children and grandchildren, doing what they can for the poor and the lonely, and visiting the sick. Such people imitate the example of those who taught them and brought them up in the faith, and are a sign of God’s love to those they encounter.
