Similarities with Jesus

In these two stories, the healing power of Jesus and the faith of those who seek healing are central. Similarities exist between Jesus and these two women which turn our attention to his passion. Like the woman with haemorrhage, he bleeds, suffers, does not cry out and remains steadfast. The daughter at her death is surrounded by a crowd who make fun of Jesus. At his death, he is surrounded by crowds who sneer at him because of he trusts that God will bring life from death (27:39–44). When has my faith enabled me to be healed?
