Merciful like the Father

Once again Jesus challenges the norms of his time and shows that the key to true faith is not legalism but doing the right thing. The Year of Mercy may be formally over but the message of it continues: ‘To be merciful like the Father.’ That is the daily challenge that we face: to do good and to be life-giving in all that we say and do and expect of others.
