Jesus, our help

The disciples must have been full of fear when they encountered the storm on the lake. They probably couldn’t swim, there would have been no life jackets. All of their safety was in Jesus. When asked, he calmed the storm for them. Things often swirl around us and make us afraid. It is good that we ask the Lord to help us at these times. He wants to help us. He himself knows what it is like to be afraid and alone.
