Joy

John’s Gospel records “you are sad now” because of the coming sufferings of Jesus’ agony, scourging and crucifixion – and after His glorious Resurrection from the dead – “I shall see you again, and your hearts will be full of joy, and that joy no one shall take from you.” A consideration of the word JOY gives the initial letters of three words: Jesus, Others, Yourself. And when you give priority in your life to these, in that order, you will experience true joy.

Mary, full of grace, intercede for us.
