Isaiah 65:17-21, Ps. 30, John4:43-54

The man believed what Jesus said and started on his way.

To believe in someone requires a personal decision to give that person my trust, choosing to follow their way in my daily actions. I might say I believe healthy eating is good. But I only believe in healthy eating, when I align my daily habits accordingly. The court official believed in Jesus, trusting he would heal his son and started on his way. Real faith is contagious, joyful and appealing. His whole family believed. Pope Francis asks, “What does ‘evangelise’ mean? To give witness to what we are and what we believe in.” Let’s joyfully point the way to Jesus.
