God desires that we bloom

God could not make the Law simpler. Jesus encapsulates it in two sentences. But simplicity is not necessarily easy. God longs for us, healing our disloyalty, feeding us with finest wheat and honey, loving us with an intensity we barely comprehend. Grace falls like dew. God desires that we bloom, flourish and recognise life as pure gift. The two sentences are like two sides of a coin. The measure we receive and respond to the loving mercy of God is the measure by which we freely love our neighbour and experience the joy of the Gospel.
