Saying Yes after prayer

The Gospel zooms from heaven, into our universe, into a town of Galilee, to a young girl, Mary. We enter the drama of God wanting to find a way for humanity to “conceive and bear a son” - Jesus. Mary’s story and journey touches our story. Like Mary, we are called to open our hearts and lives to give birth to Jesus. This requires a servant heart: “I am the servant of the Lord” and attitude “let what you have said be done to me”. Then, the angel left her - prayer time ended. Mary reminds us to let the challenge heard in prayer turn into daily action.
