Romans 8:31-39; Psalm 109; Luke 13:31-35

With God on our side …

In today’s first reading, St Paul declares his profound and unshakeable faith in Christ Jesus, his Lord and Saviour: ”He not only died for us – he rose from the dead, and there at God’s right hand he stands and pleads for us. For I am certain of this, neither death nor life … nothing that exists … not any power … nor any created thing, can ever come between us and the love of God made visible in Christ Jesus our Lord”.

Jesus, my Saviour, my Lord and my God.
