May God’s name be held holy

Christians pray with Jesus in the Holy Spirit to his Father who is ‘our Father’. Jesus begins his prayer by revering his Father’s Holy Name. Then, he begs our Father to establish the Kingdom of heaven in our heart. Every day we’re to ask our Father for the spiritual and temporal bread we need for our daily lives. We ask our Father to forgive our sins as we’ve forgiven those who’ve sinned against us. Finally, with Jesus, ask our Father to protect us in times of testing by the evil one.

Pray the Lord’s prayer with Jesus.
