The upright live through faithfulness

Suzanne Aubert’s profound faith and love for Jesus, plus the encouragement of St John Vianney, her spiritual director, brought her from France to New Zealand. Her dedication to Jesus and serving the poor attracted young women to join her in what would become the Daughters of Our Lady of Compassion. Suzanne never sought recognition from the world. Her life of faithfulness to prayer and service of others teaches us that we “are merely servants: we have done no more than our duty”.

Ask our Lord for the grace to serve others without seeking human reward.
