Brothers, sisters, mothers

What an amazing thought – everybody who is in a relationship with Jesus, everybody who follows him, becomes his brother or sister or mother which must mean as brothers and sisters and mothers of Jesus we, in turn, reveal a particular aspect of the face and hands and heart of Jesus. As brothers and sisters and mothers of the Lord we introduce those searching for God, and those searching for faith and belonging into the very family of God. That is the gift of the catechumens – as we welcome them into our faith communities and into the Body of Christ, they enrich our story and change us in the ways of grace.
