Going up to Jerusalem

The week begins. The life of Jesus isn’t about success. It’s about a revealing of salvation for all who choose to be with him. Today they acclaim him. On Friday they will crucify him. He knows how fickle we can all be. During the week we may have Easter plans in the form of a ‘to do’ list for the weekend, but how about allowing this week to be holy. For today, be with Jesus as he rides in, and look at his face as he sees Jerusalem. Recognise your own potential to be fickle at times, and your ability to be consistently dedicated to him. It is a week to be with him.
