What do you choose to see?

One of the invitations of Lent is to allow our way of seeing to be re-set. The religious police see Jesus breaking the law and catch him working on the Sabbath, and he is seemingly proud to do so. They don’t see the truth that God is always laboring, forever at work, that Jesus and the Father are really one and the same, and that all of us are invited into this intimacy. Sometimes when our phones or computers are jamming, we need to switch them off and re-set. Take time today to switch off, and allow yourself to lean into the mystery of Jesus, the Father and yourself, and so be re-set.
