Hebrews 12:1-4; Psalm 22; Mark 5:21-43

Faith saves

Jesus ‘leads us in our faith and brings it to perfection’. Living in faith takes courage. The synagogue official, Jairus, showed the courage of faith, while many of those who held official positions rejected Jesus. The woman with the haemorrhage exhibited courage when she probably wanted to run away, ‘frightened and trembling’. Her faith brought about her cure; Jairus’ faith brought his daughter back from the dead. Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.
