Freedom

Today’s Gospel has Jesus beginning his ministry. He is full of the Spirit. The Spirit leads him to teach, enlighten, heal and free people. This is happening among us now. We can hear the word that brings light and freedom. We can allow Jesus to lead us to newness of vision and life. The same text can be fulfilled today, even as we listen. Let our eyes of faith be fixed on him.
