Humanity of Jesus

Jesus became one of us. He is like us, he is close to us. We can be close to him, we can even identify with him. Because Jesus is fully human, God has come so close to humanity and to each one of us. This intimacy can be grasped and even felt. The gulf between humanity and God has been bridged. Because of Jesus and all he did, God is in us and we are in God. To rediscover the humanity of Jesus is a great grace. Let us ask for it.
