In a short time …

There are a number of occasions in the gospels where we are told that the disciples didn’t understand what Jesus meant by what he said. I know that I sometimes feel the same – I ask ‘what?’ ‘why?’ ‘how?’ about the things happening in my life or the world and I don’t understand how Jesus is responding to me. We need to remember or to journal the words, thoughts and ideas that come to mind, ponder them in our hearts and then one day our “sorrow will turn to joy” as we see the outworking of God’s plan.
