HOLY SATURDAY
Romans 6:3-11; Psalm 118:1-2,16-17, 22-23; Mark 16:1-8
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
When we were baptized, our ‘old self’ – enslaved by fallen earthly Adam – was buried with Christ, and raised by him as a ‘new self’, a new creation in the image of Christ the new heavenly Adam. As Jesus passed from death to life, so have we. Jesus has broken the hold of Satan, and through his gift of Easter Faith, he invites us to live all the days of our life in his presence.
In faith, joy and thanksgiving, let us renew our Baptism promises. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!
