The world needs saints

St. Paul makes it clear that my evangelizing life must be one in which my good works are combined with an increasing knowledge of God’s love and his will for me. He says this sort of life is saintly. I become holy by moving out of the darkness of my sin into the light of Jesus Christ’s life. An evangelical sense of sin helps me to look on my sins more positively than I perhaps have done in the past. When I say sorry I am forgiven and I draw hopefully closer to God. This is an awesome feeling and has me, like St. Peter, on my knees overcome with love for Jesus Christ.
