In Christ

When Christ gave himself over to the Cross, God basically said to the world ‘do your worst to me,’ and the world did. However, through the resurrection we see God triumphing over sin and death. In the Gospel today Jesus invites the disciples to face the reality of evil and enter into the redemptive power of God. For, in Christ, ‘the world’ has no power over us.
