Abide in my love

Today we are doubly assured that God has chosen us and remains with us. Firstly Paul refutes the arguments of the Pharisees and reminds the believers of all the signs and wonders God has done for them. In John's Gospel, Jesus promises that if we keep the commandments we will remain in God's love. Let us not be overcome by the sorrows and troubles that surround us, but open ourselves to Jesus' promise, 'abide in my love so that my joy may be complete in you.'
