Giving my best

Where does my loyalty lie? Sometimes we really are put to the test. It might be a simple choice between going to Mass or staying in bed for the morning. In big things and little, we are put to the test again and again. Do I say grace when nobody’s watching? Am I really trying to the best of my ability and with the gifts I’ve been given to follow Christ’s teachings – regardless of how poor my skills? Do I share the load with others, letting them help me just as I help them?

Hold me fast to you Lord, and help me bring others to your side.
