Endure to the last

Although being obedient to God’s word can be very difficult indeed at times, it is nothing compared to the suffering of those who who give way and deny him. As even small sins hurt us, deliberately denying God – bearing false witness to yourself and to the rest of the world, would be a cruelly horrible state to find yourself in.

Dear Lord, I pray for the courage to endure all difficulties for you and for the discernment to be able to recognise the snares of sin and the suffering of eternal death.
