Raised to proclaim

Elijah prays to God for the woman’s son who is near to death. God hears his prayer, and the son is made well again. But Jesus says to the young man who has died, ‘I tell you to get up,’ and the people begin to understand that God is, indeed, in their midst. By God’s grace and through our faith in Christ, each of us has died and has been raised to life through Baptism. Each of us, then, like the apostles, is called to proclaim the Good News: that Christ is the Resurrection and the Life.
