Faith to the end

The sinless heart of Mary is like the widow in the Gospel reading who gave all she had to live on; everything that she possessed given over to God. In the same way, each of us is called to give our lives to Christ by living our faith to the full, so that, at the end of our own earthly lives, like Paul, we can say: ‘I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith.’
