Inner strength

In today’s Gospel the disciples are troubled because they realise Jesus is speaking of leaving them. They are fearful not only of losing him but also of not knowing what to do next. We, too, are often left feeling lost and bewildered by major loss. But like the disciples, we have more inner strength and resources than we realise. Our faith in and love for Jesus don’t spare us from major challenges in our life but they do give us hope that if we continue to believe in him things will become clear.
