Ghost of a life?

Does my Christian life make me feel that I am an heir to all the prophets foretold? Or is it cut off from all that, entirely dependent on my interpretation of Jesus’ life in the New Testament? Being an heir of the prophets helps me to connect to the covenant God made with my ancestors in faith. It also somehow helps me believe in the bodily Resurrection of Christ. He eats a piece of fish. He is, for those who want to see him, bodily risen from the dead. If I have trouble believing this perhaps my discipleship is a mere ghost of a life.
