I step boldly towards Calvary

Today I ‘remember’ the events of Holy Week. Remembering the Paschal Mystery and living the present moment with Jesus Christ as he walks into Jerusalem do not cancel each other out. One action is contemplative, the other active. They come together in me and reveal to me what is unfolding in Christ’s life and in my life. Will I be faithful enough to get through the week without betraying him? In the words Christ speaks to Peter, and in the words of the prophet, I am warned of the price I will pay for loving Jesus Christ faithfully.
