Daniel 13:1-62, Ps 23, John 8:1-11

Be rescued by being reconciled.

Susanna is a woman of integrity who simply could not betray the truth about life. The Holy Spirit roused Daniel to rescue her. The woman in the Gospel betrayed the truth about life and God sent his Son to her to redeem her life. Today I walk in dark valleys of sin, those actions of mine that betray the truth about life. The Church gives me the sacrament of reconciliation where I can bring these actions to the light of Jesus Christ and experience God’s truth once more.
