The Last Judgement

I don’t score high on the list of good deeds in the “Last Judgement” parable. I am comforted however (I hope) by the notion that these are simply examples of some of the ways that people of that time could help those in need. The parable’s message is, surely, that we should treat every person as we would treat Jesus himself. When we help anyone, in any way, we are doing an act of kindness not only to that person, but also to Jesus. Likewise, when we fail to help a person in need we are denying help to Jesus. That’s all very clear, but it isn’t easy is it? Where did I meet Jesus today?
