David’s Example

King David had serious personal flaws which led him to commit some of the worst sins recorded in the Old Testament. But he was a great leader of his people and he loved God passionately. Throughout his life he placed his total trust in God’s love, mercy, forgiveness and guidance. David’s example is an encouragement for us when we likewise rue our own flaws and weaknesses. God is so patient, forgiving and merciful to those who love him.
