Ephesians 2:19-22, Ps 19 A, Luke 6:12-16

We are apostles

“Jesus went into the hills to pray. He summoned his disciples. He picked out twelve and called them apostles.”(Luke) It’s the early followers of Jesus who carried the Christian message into the world. We too carry the message of the Gospel into the world. We are the message we bring. We are the loving, forgiving presence of Jesus to all we meet. Let us pray for the grace to embody Jesus’ love and compassion in all our encounters today.
