I will follow you …but

Someone talks with Jesus about desire and reluctance. This is a common response to Jesus in the Gospels and in our lives too. We want to say yes, to follow; yet we are reluctant. Talk with Jesus about your desire and resistances to being a companion on the road.

Pray this prayer, made familiar by St Ignatius Loyola: To see Thee more clearly, love Thee more dearly, follow Thee more nearly, day by day.
