All will be well

We all worry to some degree, even though most of what we worry about never happens. Today Jesus reassures his disciples by telling them not to worry. They too, like Jesus, will also face suffering and death, yet they placed their confidence in God. We can’t change our future, but we can live confidently in the present knowing that God will always be with us. He gives us the confidence to look outward from ourselves and see all the goodness around us. In him, all will turn out well, despite the worries we might have.
