Opening the Word

Paul gets up, after being invited, and begins to explain to the people the history of God’s intervention in the world, culminating with the arrival of Jesus. He is educating and enlightening those listeners. He is opening their minds to the word and work of God. What we fill our minds with shapes who we become. Am I called to be Paul in the places I find myself in? Do I need to seek out Pauls in my life who might help me be enlightened in the ways of God?
