Isaiah 25:6-10, Psalm 23 Matt. 15:29-37

Enough for all

Christ and his disciples were suppposedly on holiday. But still the requests came. No peace or quietness. Healings galore, preaching, counselling, debating. Centuries before, Isaiah had promised hunger, thirst, shame, sorrows and even death would be vanquished by the Messiah After the mute, lame, blind and maimed had all been healed, the crowd had stayed with Jesus for three days. Jesus felt aroha for them and performed another miracle. Seven breads and a few small fishes were multiplied to feed thousands, foretelling the Eucharist which has continued to spiritually feed Christians for over 2000 years.
