Be grateful

Imagine how you’d feel if you gave a gift that was never opened, or was undervalued. This is how God must feel when he gives us talents we don’t bother to use. He also provides the gifts of the Holy Spirit - these too can be developed into talents: for wisdom; understanding; good judgement; fortitude; knowledge; piety; and wonder.

Dear God, thank you for your many gifts. I pray that I will always use them to enhance my life for your benefit and for the benefit of others.
