Remaining faithful

Where is God when disaster strikes? Why do the wicked prosper while good men suffer? Why is God silent while evil flourishes? Habakkuk asked the same questions generations have asked throughout the ages, but his perceptions, like ours, were way off beam. The prophet found out that far from being silent and indifferent, God had his strategies already in place. Humbled, Habakkuk was eventually able to admit that “the upright man will live by his faithfulness.” Lord give us the grace to remain faithful to you during those times we’re tempted to question your motives.
