Testing God

You can almost hear the outrage in Judith’s voice as she berates the people’s leaders for putting God to the test. How dare they put time restrictions on him when asking for his help or attempting to coerce or cajole him! We know she’s right, but are we not guilty of the same actions? Aren’t we capable of a little bargaining ourselves when we’re in desperate situations? Lord, when we’re weighed down with life’s circumstances help us to place them totally in your hands and trust you to help us.
