Strive for unity

The amount and depth of love we have for one another is reflected in the unity of the whole, be that a family, a religious community, a parish, a Church. Unity is power. The world knows this but Jesus knows it is fragile too. He tells us today that if we truly take him to heart and that ‘taking to heart’ is the focus of our faith then unity amongst us will prevail as it prevails in the Trinity. What is it about my attitudes and behaviour that cause disunity in my family, community or parish?
