Jesus sent by the Father

Central to Jesus’ message and mission was that he came from the Father and would return to the Father. What he taught, what he declared to the world was what he brought from the Father, the Good News of God’s love for us and our salvation. Jesus preached that message, not in his own name, but in the name of the Father. While Jesus consistently repeated this message, the Jews struggled to grasp it. Could it be that the passage of time and the gift of faith have made it easier for us to embrace the Father’s love for us and Jesus’ saving grace.
