ST JOSEPH, HUSBAND OF MARY

Faith

What great faith St Joseph must have needed to protect his wife and foster son from the circumstances and danger surrounding Jesus’ birth. Joseph could have refused to involve himself but chose to accept God’s will. What an exceptional man he must have been – the one God asked to care for his Son.

St Joseph, chosen by God to be the earthly father of Jesus, I honour you. Help me to grow in faith and love in the name of your beloved family.
