Pray for sinners

On the face of it, murder and anger are poles apart. Yet where murder kills outright, hosting a poisonous anger against others is a sore on the same continuum. So while most of us are not murderers, we probably have to deal with destructive anger sometimes.

I pray for all those suffering under the weight and violence of their anger. As an antidote and cure, may they be blessed with the faith to pray daily for relief from this sin, and be rewarded with the gifts of generosity, compassion and patience.
