Pray for Others

One of Christ’s aims in leaving the Holy Spirit to look after us was to provide comfort, not just for those he was leaving behind, but also for those not yet born. Through the faith the Holy Spirit engenders we know we can ask God’s forgiveness for anything: Christ has not only died but has risen and gone to the Father to prepare places for us.

May we, in union with the Holy Spirit, pray not just for ourselves but for others, including those as yet unborn so we all may, like Christ, be united with our Father in heaven.
