Your sins are forgiven

Those who saw the paralysed man cured ‘had never seen anything like this’. The paralytic’s healing was a demonstration of Jesus’ authority to forgive sins. The Lord sees our faith and forgives us if we ask him to do so. We take comfort in the Lord’s forgiveness, and put our faith and trust in his compassion, especially when we celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
