With lamps lit

The modern equivalent would be a spare battery, maybe even with the brand: EverReady! For preparedness for doing good or speaking humbly we need practice in little things that can become good habits – the virtues of being wise, fair, strong and moderate. For the next few days endeavour to practice one of these four; such practice will be oil to keep our lamps lit.
