Live in love

‘To live a life of love’ – simple words with a deep calling. The gospel gives us more understanding. If my life is focused on me and trying to keep it safe, I will lose it. If I give my life for others in a life of love then I will keep it. How often are we inspired when we see the self-sacrifice of someone in their continual giving to another. Think of a parent for a child, or a partner in marriage, or a daughter or son caring for an ageing parent. That is living a life of love.
