Coming to Jesus

Up until now Mark has only recorded opposition to Jesus’ healings. Jesus withdraws to pray and be with his disciples. His popularity among ordinary people skyrockets. The new family of God are gathering from Jewish regions in Judea and Jerusalem and from foreign areas. The whole world appears to be coming to Jesus. His humanity and frailty contrast with his mighty works. While Jesus has healed by touch, his own body is at risk of being crushed by the crowds. Imagine you are in this scene. Who are you? Where are you? Talk to Jesus.
