Relationship with Jesus

John is primarily a witness to Jesus. When he hears that his disciples and a Jew are confused about himself and Jesus, John explains with five affirmations. One can only receive what God has given. He was not the Messiah, not the bridegroom but the friend of the bridegroom who hears the bridegroom’s voice. His joy is fulfilled. Jesus must increase while he must decrease. Imagine someone is confused about your relationship with Jesus. What explanation would you give? How would you reply?
